Q1) How was the sales and pre move in experience, were Riva easy to contact and deal with? Were your queries answered and dealt with?

Moving home is a very stressful situation for families and to be honest I was dreading it worrying about what could go wrong.  The directors of Riva Home were fantastic !! Very polite and respectful at all times. Nothing was ever too much trouble always on the other end of the phone whenever I wanted to chat or go over little issues.  Often at inconvenient times to them even agreeing to meet us late after work or at the weekend. Queries were always dealt with professionally and efficiently.

Q2) If you had any issues, were they resolved by Riva homes to your satisfaction?

There were issues as this is to be expected but James Bulmer and Paul Frain always resolved any problems that arose. For example  my husband wanted to look at the plans for the parking and Paul allowed us to look at the original drawings so we were satisfied that there was sufficient parking to put our minds at ease.

I must say they were extremely patient.

As customers I am sure we tried their patience at times changing our minds many times on our kitchen fittings etc. But they always remained respectful and kind.

Q3) Are you happy with the build quality of your home?

We are extremely happy with the quality and workmanship that went into our beautiful home. It has very high specification and our family and friends have also commented on this many times. They are different to the houses in the local area a different style and with it being a smallish site it stands out as a very well built site with a special touch.

Q4) What is your favourite room and why?

It has to be our kitchen/dining room. It has been designed just exactly how we would of wanted. It is very spacious and as we love to entertain it is perfect for large family gatherings.

The breakfast bar is great for the kids to eat leaving our table for the adults. To top it all we are privileged to have a fantastic view over the valley which is priceless. I feel very lucky to have this view.

Q5) Is your home warm - how does is compare to other homes you have owned regarding energy bills?

Our home is very warm. As to the utility bills it may be a little early to see how much we are saving as we do need to perhaps shop around to get a better deal with our current energy companies. I think when we go into winter we should be able to compare better. We love the nest system so modern and we can set it with our phones to adjust the temperature.

Q6) Would you recommend Riva to a Friend?

I have already recommended Riva Homes to many of my friends and family.

My closest friend had a viewing on one of the last houses to sell she was like myself very impressed. Although did not work out for her due to her circumstances.

Q7) Have your after sales items been dealt with?

Like all new builds we have had a snagging list . It has been worked through with the construction site manager and it is complete. The snagging issues were  trivial matters and any tweaking done quickly and efficiently.
